Ordering, delivery and payment

What does a shelf cost?

Every price is on our shelving page, and it is the same for everyone. Units start at Ksh 6,500 for The Starter. The Quadruple, a four-tier bookcase, is Ksh 17,500, and The Double Bay, with ten shelves, is Ksh 46,000.

Our shelves are modular, which means they are made of separate parts that stack together. A shelf costs what its parts cost, so you can start with one unit and add more later.

Delivery is charged separately.

How do I order?

Message us on WhatsApp with the shelf you like, by its name or a picture from our site, and we'll send you an invoice. If you'd like it wider, taller or in another color, we can change the design with you first.

Or design it yourself in our builder, which prices the shelf as you go. When it looks right, tap Order on WhatsApp. The message carries your design, its pieces, its color and its price, so we can send the invoice straight back.

How do I pay?

We ask for full payment before we make the shelf, by M-Pesa or bank transfer. The payment details are at the bottom of the invoice.

Prices include VAT, and we provide an ETR invoice in whichever name you give us. A bank transfer to our Kenyan account also works from abroad, if you are buying for someone in Nairobi.

When will it arrive, and what does delivery cost?

We make every unit at our workshop in Dagoretti Corner and deliver within Nairobi, assembled, within a week of payment. We agree the day and a time with you.

Delivery is charged by area, and we tell you the fee before you pay. You are also welcome to collect from the workshop, with no delivery fee.

What if something is wrong?

If a shelf has a defect in its materials or workmanship, we repair or replace it free of charge. Kindly tell us within 7 days of delivery. Wear and tear after delivery is not covered.

If your order is under Ksh 20,000, you can also return it at delivery, for store credit. The delivery fee is not refunded, and a later delivery is charged again.

How much does a shelf hold?

Our shelves have a steel frame, and they are very strong. A full row of hardbacks, or a television on a low unit, is well within what a shelf carries.

Where can I see one?

We don't have a showroom yet, but you are welcome to visit our workshop in Dagoretti Corner and see units being made. Kindly message us first to agree a time.

Units are also on display at Knead Artisanal Bakery in Westlands, Cheche Books in Lavington and Kuzi in Karen.

Every design on our site has its own page, where you can stand the shelf in your room at its real size through your phone camera. Colors on screen are a guide, so if you'd like to see one of our four colors in person, ask us for a sample.
